Homemade bread is awesome! Part of the reason it is awesome is that it doesn't have anything in it that is doesn't need to be tasty. When keeping bread at home it tastes best left on the counter in a airtight container. It will last at least 3-5 days. Keeping it in the fridge will make it last for at least a week but, it may dry it out a little.
Don't think you can eat your bread fast enough? Leave it in the bag you purchased it in and place it directly in the freezer. Frost-free freezers will keep it fresh for at least a month. Deep freezers will keep it fresh for at least 3 months. When you are ready to eat it just place it directly on the counter.
